Extra Curricular Activities
Colleges want to know how you spent your time
outside the school day.
Be involved in your school and your community!
Get involved in the arts, athletics, service or special
interest clubs, student government. Focus on the
activities that are the most meaningful to you.
Look for leadership opportunities.
Admissions counselors are more interested in
depth of involvement, not breadth of involvement.
Students who have been involved in extra curricular
activities adjust better to the independence of
college life.
