ThankyouforpurchasingMechline’sBaSixTMmobilehandwashstation.Whencorrectlyinstalled,andoperatedinaccordancewiththisOperatorManual,itwillprovidemanyyearsofservice.

Mechline’shygienichand-washingsolutionshelpoperationsmeettheirrequirementstoprovidehand-washfacilitiesforstaffandcustomersonsite.Bygivingtoolstomakeiteasierandfaster,goodandsafehabitsaremoreeasilyfollowedandenforced.

Hands-freetechnologyimproveshealthandsafety,byremovingtheneedformanualcontactandpreventingthespreadofgermsbyhand.

Hand-washingisthenumberonepreventionagainstthespreadofviruses,bacteriaandotherpathogens.Goodhand-washinghabitscanbeencouragedwiththerightequipmentinstalledinthecorrectposition.

Spoutwithwatersavingdiffuser–OurBSX-MHB-Xmodelwillprovideapprox.223handwashcyclesfrom1x12.5Lwatercontainer.Ifthealternativeultrawater-savingdiffuserisfittedtothespout,thiswouldprovideapprox.304handwashcyclesfrom1x12.5Lwatercontainer.OurBSX-MHB-HWCandHWC-Tmodelscanreduceyourwaterconsumptiontoaslittleas0.6lpmwhenconnectedtomainswater(testedat3barpressure).

Portable–Allmodelscanbetransportedwitheaseusingthecastorsandgrabhandle.Idealforuseatentrancestobuildings/operations.Thecastorscanberemovedtoallowflushtowallfittingifdesired.

• JointsealstobemadeusingPTFEtapeONLY.

• NOJOINTINGCOMPOUNDStobeusedunderanycircumstances.

• Thepreferredlocationforthemanualmixingvalveisnexttothetimeflowfootvalve.However,ifdesired,thiscanbeinstalledattheinletendofthewatersupply.

6.12.2 Installation

NOTE:Installmanualmixingvalvewithadjustablevalvesfacingtheinstaller.

• Recommendedpressurerange1.5-3Bar.

• ConnectthecoldwatersupplytotheinletontheLHSasviewedfromtheviewinpictureabove.

• ConnectthehotwatersupplytotheinletontheRHSasviewedfromtheviewinpictureabove.

6.12.3 Calibratingthetemperature

Afterinstallationturntheadjustmentsscrewsusinga3mmAllenkeyuntilthedesiredwatertemperaturedeliverytothespoutisachieved.Turnclock-wisetoclosethevalveandanti-clockwisetoopenthevalve.

• Pre-setat38°C(CWandHWpressure3bar).

• Minimummixedwatertemperature:34°C.

• Anti-scaldingfail-safeactivatesif:o themixedwatertemperatureexceeds42°C.o thedifferencebetweentheHWandCWisgreaterthan15°C.

NOTE:Responsetime~2seconds.

• Thepreferredlocationforthethermostaticmixingvalveisnexttothetimeflowfootvalve,underthefootplate.However,ifdesired,thiscanbeinstalledattheinletendofthewatersupply.

6.13.2 Installation

• Recommendeddynamicpressure:1-5bar.

• HWsupplytemperature:55-85°C.

• CWsupplytemperature:5-20°C.

• BalancetheHW/CWpressure(∆P<1bar).

• PREMIXNANOcanbeinstalledinanyposition.

• Connectthehotwatersupplytotheinletwitharedmarkerandthecoldwatertotheinletwithabluemarker.

6.13.3 Calibratingthetemperature

Itispossibletochangethemixedwatertemperatureby:

• Removingthecap

• Turningthescrewwitha5mmAllenkey-clockwisetoreducethetemperatureandanti-clockwisetoincreasethetemperature.

NOTE:Theadjustorscrewturnscontinuouslybelow34°C.

• Oncethedesiredtemperaturehasbeenachieved,replacethecap.

Chapter8.GENERALMAINTENANCE

RefertoChapter3ofthismanual,relatingtosafety.

Thegradeofstainlesssteelusedtomanufacturethisappliance(430ASI)hasbeenchosentoofferenhancedcorrosionprotection.However,allgradesofstainlesssteelcanstainanddiscolourthroughgeneraluse.InordertokeepyourBaSixproductingoodcondition,itshouldbekeptascleanaspossible.Withpropercare,yourBaSixproductwillgivemanyyearsofservicelife.

Careshouldbetakenduringinstallationtoensurethatsurfacecontaminationisavoided.Thebestwaytodothisistoleavetheprotectiveplasticfilminplaceifpossible,duringinstallation,andthenremoveitjustbeforetheproductisused.

Forgeneralcleaning,usesoaporamilddetergentandwateronasponge.Rinsewithcleanwaterandwipedryifnecessary.Avoidabrasivecleaningproductssuchasscourers.Themobilebasinrangemustbeinstalledandoperatedincompliancewiththesuppliedinstructions.

• TheuseofsuitablePPE,suchasgloves,isrecommendedwhencleaningormaintainingthisproduct.

• Donotuseabrasive,chlorineoracid-basedcleaningproducts.Avoidcontactwithconcentratedbleach.Cleanwithsoapywaterusingaclothorsponge.
