SHAPE

In this 3-dimensional object shapes such as circles and triangles can be seen. These shapes are mostly geometric. Therefore, it’s best described as

a geometric object.

I’d say that the design of this whole space is very geometric. Triangles, squares, rectangles have been used a lot in this composition. Also, the fact that the whole thing

is symmetrical makes it seem more geometrical.

This is also a very geometric design. With a range of mathematics- based shapes such as triangles and irregular squares and 90-degree corners , one can agree

without a doubt that it’s not an organic design.

This bowl of goods incorporates both geometric and organic shapes. It may be organic because of some of the irregular and nature-looking shapes featured. It may

also be geometric because of the circles and squares found in this bowl of goods.

This design is mostly geometric. The reason for this is because mostly shapes such as circles, and squares can be seen. The car, on its own, is a very mechanical/masculine

design. Therefore, I’d classify this as geometric.

These are clearly 2-dimension shapes. The tattoos contain very organic, curvilinear shapes which I think are very interesting. On the whole, the composition is very

intricate and elegant which is why I’d classify it as of being organic.

As a 2-dimensional design, this contains both organic and geometric shapes. The circle and straight, 90-degree cornered letters being

geometric while the adult and kid organic.

This is a 2-dimensional design. However, shading in and tones used on the boy and dog gives it a feeling of it being 3-dimensional. Shapes used

in this design are organic; irregular, asymmetrical.

FORM

Form has been created by the use of light and darkness in this picture.Lightness being the sky and darkness being the architecture.

Here, light and shading techniques has also been used to create a feeling of form. The whole light background (bright sky & sun) and dark shaded object

(bridge) makes the architecture in this picture advance.

Here, the whole blurred background and clear cherries has been used to create form as well. The background has been blurred allowing the subject (cherries) to

advance.

Form has been created by the use of geometric/blurred versus organic forms. Here, the fluid being poured out advances while the background recedes.

In this picture, form has been created by the use of space. Space being the ocean/water surrounding the building. Also, the largeness of the building in

comparison to the other buildings far behind makes it stand out more.

SPACE

In this composition space has been created by the use of distance and positive/negative space. Distance being the length between the one stool and the other stool and positive/negative space being the man on the stool versus

the empty stool.

In this picture, distance has also been used to create a feeling of space. The distance between each tree and how the further it gets the closer the trees are to each other.

In this design, light and dark has been used to create a feeling of space.

Space has been created by the use of organic forms in this design.

The black versus white is what has been used to create a feeling of space.
