Minimum Graduation Requirements

English – 4 credits(English I, II, III, IV)

Math – 4 credits (Math I, Math II, Math III and AFM or higher level)

Science – 3 credits (Earth and Environmental, Biology and Physical Science or higher level)

Social Studies –3 credits class of 2015/ 4 credits class of 2016 and beyond

(World History, Civics, American History I, American History II)

Physical Education – 1 credit (Healthful living)

Electives – 13 credits 2 from CTE, Arts, or World Languages 4 credit sequence strongly recommended

World Languages 2 credits in same language required to apply to a

4-yr college/university

Advanced Placement Continued

All AP Courses are for students who want a more rigorous course experience-it is a college level course.

Students should have A’s or high B’s in their Honors courses.

AP courses are taught face to face or on-line. *If you take an on-line AP course, you MUST match it with another year long course. This can be another AP, Honors or a Standard course as long as it is year long. On-Line AP is considered a SKINNY.
