General Profile Hints

• Keep your profile up to date

• Make sure you’re connected to the right company: REED! -You can change the display name to show your specialism

• Full contact details: Add email addresses and phone numbers

• Add a professional looking photo. Avoid pictures in a bar in Magaluf!

• Ask for recommendations – don’t be shy. These are so important

• Take some time to fill out the full detail of the profile. It will pay off

• Mark yourself as a LION: this makes you open to connections. The more connections you have, the better your reach will be

Privacy

Make yourself open to connections, but watch your privacy:

Connecting with other recruiters is ok:A lot of your connections are other recruiters, which is great, as they add candidates to your mutual connections, but make sure that only you can see a list of your connections (privacy settings)

Check rivals connections lists:When you connect, it’s always worth checking rival consultants to see if you can see all of their connections, as you might get some contactable candidates.
