Still Digital Camera• The still Digital Camera was used to take pictures. The still camera was used a lot during this

course, we needed this camera to take pictures of various location, actors, and props that we would need for our music video. We used the camera for all the images on our Digipak and Magazine advert. We also used the camera to take a picture of our story board before we stared filming our music video, we then put our story board into an animatic which was like a slide show. The digital camera was very easy to use and very simple.

Tripod• A tripod is used to hold a camera which would be steady, as a group we hardly used the

tripod. As I have a steady hand I was comfortable using my hand, at times when my hand started to ache I would use the tripod. We also used the tripod last year. In my opinion I do not think that the tripod is hard to set up, but at times I would forget how the camera would be placed on to the tripod. There were safety rules about how to carry the tripod about, it had to always be folded and carried under your arm incase of an accident.

Youtube

• Youtube is used by everyone on a daily basis, so I was familiar with this website. Youtube is a website where you can post videos or watch videos from around the world. As Chanel had a Youtube account, I didn’t feel the need to make a Youtube account. Chanel was in my group last year, so I technically shared her Youtube account with her. It was very useful to me this year. The point of a Youtube account was to upload videos for example every time that we recorded something it had to be posted onto our Youtube account so it was easy for us to upload the videos on to our Blog as Final Cut Express would not allow us to do so.

Survey Monkey• The use of Survey Monkey was to gain audience research and feedback. I used Survey

Monkey before and after my music video was completed. • Before-allowed me to see what people were expecting to see in my music video, and allowed

them to have their own opinions on what they think should be in a romantic music video.• After-allowed me to see what people thought about my music video, to see if they liked it or

not, also allowed me to see what people rated my music video out of 10. Lastly i could see what they said about my music video and had their opinions on if any improvements could be made.

• From using Survey Monkey I have learnt a new and easy way way of creating a questionnaire instead of making one on Microsoft word. Survey Monkey will definitely be useful to me in the future.

Photoshop• Photoshop is a software that manipulates photos and allows you to create images. Before I

got introduced to Photoshop I had heard of it before but never used it. When it was time to create our magazine advert and digipak we had to use Photoshop. It was confusing at first but I got used to.

• ygyy The eraser was used to take off the white lips and then made it red with the coloring pointer symbol.

The T symbol was to insert text in a different layer

The pointy symbol was to go back to back to do something else and you always had to click on this symbol straight after you had erased do something incase you rubbed out anything else.
