WE NEED CAKES, PIES, BROWNIES, COOKIES!
Everyone loves to play the cake-wheel to win some goodies to take home! We need your help in con-tinuing to make these successful. We are looking for more donations of cakes! You don’t have to do one every month, but when you can, we’d appreciate it immensely! We have the cakewheel every 2nd Fri-day of the month during the Fish Fry. If you are willing to help call people to ask for cakes, please let an officer know!

We Need Your Plastic Bags!
The Seaford Women of the Moose is planning on making mats for the homeless people in our area. They will be crocheted out of “plarn” (plastic bag yarn). We will need bags to make this happen. We have had an OUTSTANDING show of sup-port so far and cannot thank you enough. Keep those bags coming. A collection box is located by the women’s restroom. If you are interested in joining us to learn how to make a mat and to help us help the home-less, our first meeting will be held on Sunday, November 11 from 1-3. Please bring scissors and a crochet hook that is at least a size K (or bigger!) Please call Melody at (302) 258-3494 or email [email protected] for more information or to let her know to keep you “in the loop”. Thanks!

We need cakes!!!
Please come to a
meeting!
We need
suggestions!
Congratulations,
Linda & Connie!
Women of the Moose News Co-workers, We hope that you try to include some time in your busy schedules to come visit with us at the Lodge and to attend some meetings. We would love to see a lot more participation from our members. If you have suggestions on what we can do to make participating more enticing, please let us know! We work hard to try and have activities for everyone. We are also looking for events for children of all ages and for ways to get them in-volved. Otherwise, the future of the Moose organization looks bleak. If you have ideas, please let us know or drop suggestions in our WOTM box by the women’s restroom. Our cakewheels have been a little light on cakes the past few months. If you have a few moments to make us a baked good for our upcoming cakewheels, that would be great. They are held the 2nd Friday of the month during the Fish Fry. You can drop the cakes off on Thursday or Friday night. We can keep them in the cooler if you drop them off on Thursdays. Your baking skills are much appreciated! The Women of the Moose are holding a membership contest. The member that signs the most WOMEN into our Chapter between Sept 1st and Dec 31st of this year will win a $20 gift card. So, lets go out and talk moose! Get those applications turned in! The women officers need the help of our youth!
We want to find ways to get our youth involved and out to the lodge more often.
Do you have suggestions for activities or events in which
today’s youth (of all ages) would be interested?
Give us a call or drop your suggestion in our WOTM box by the women’s restroom!
Include the age group(s) for which you think
the suggestion(s) would be appropriate.
Would your kids be interested in helping us at some of our dinners or other events?
