Male clients are requested to wear undergarments whilst having treatments.

If you are taking medication, have recently hadany operations or illness or have a medicalcondition, it is advisable that you bring a doctorsnote with you.

If you are in the first trimester of your pregnancywe would advise that certain treatments are notsuitable. This can be discussed further onbooking your treatments.

Please advise in advance if you suffer from anyallergies or from skin sensitivity, dermatitis,contact eczema or psoriasis.

In the interest of hygiene we do not recommendpedicures or reflexology if you suffer fromverruca’s or fungal infections.

Any personal information given is held in thestrictest confidence.

It is advisable to book treatments in advance toavoid disappointment.

Treatments are not available to those under theage of 16.

The range of treatments available in the Spa isvaried, and may not be suitable for everyindividual. If you’re taking medication, haverecently had an operation or illness, or have amedical condition, including cancer, it isadvisable to consult your doctor before bookingtreatments. If in doubt , please ask our therapistwho has been trained to know under whatcircumstances a treatment should not proceed orwhen to refer a client to a doctor and canrecommend alternative treatments. We do notwish to disappoint; however your health andwell-being are always are priority.

We respectfully remind guests that areservation constitutes a contract betweenthem and Hartwell House and a charge will be incurred for any treatment cancelled lessthan 24 hours prior to appointment (sevendays for Spa Experience and Day Packages).So that our clients are not inconveniencedclients are requested to attend punctually fortreatment. Those arriving late (who will still becharged at the tariff price) may receive ashorter treatment and unless more than 30minutes late will probably not be able toreceive the treatment booked. These pricesare valid from 1st April 2017 until furthernotice. Our tariffs are fully inclusive of serviceand VAT. If they wish guests may leave gratuities at their discretion.
