ACT OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION:

When we want to make it to Mass but cannot due to health reasons an act of spiritual communion is helpful.

My Jesus, I believe that You are in the Blessed Sacra-ment. I love You above all things, and I long for You in my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. As though You have already come, I embrace You and unite myself entirely to You; never permit me to be separated from You. -Amen.

Light of Christ Academy, in partnership with St Ann Parish welcomes all parents and students to visit our school to see what makes us unique.

No child will be denied the opportunity for this wonderful Catholic education due to financial need.

DISTANCE LEARNING

Over the past few weeks, our LCA students have been tak-ing some virtual field trips to the Catholic Cathedrals of Europe, the Cincinnati Zoo and Monterey Bay Aquarium. For many students these have been activities enjoyed by the entire family.

Other students have spent time creating beautiful crowns for their own Mary statues. This celebration of the Blessed Virgin is very special for our students.

Our students have also created some beautiful art such as this scene render-ing from Anne of Green Gables.

VIEW A LIVESTREAM OF DAILY MASS WITH FATHER JAMES!

Each morning Father James will offer Mass at 9:00 am through Facebook Live. You can find it on the St. Ann website at stannaugusta.org or view it directly on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/SaintAnnChurch. It is also recorded so you can view it at a later date!

Dear friends of St. Ann,

This week brought the good news of a gradual return to the common life of our parish families in the Diocese of Kalamazoo. This week your parish staff and volunteers will be working on all the necessary preparations for our first Masses open to the public begin-ning May 27. As we return to public celebration of Masses, the 9 a.m. Masses will continue to be livestreamed on the parish web page and Facebook page. As we plan please consult the Diocese of Kala-mazoo web page for guidelines for

the faithful in attending Mass. There are a number of helpful suggestions and answers to common questions. It is important to remember that, while the Church can dispense from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass, the obligation to keep the Lord’s day holy is a Divine precept that no earth-ly authority can dispense from. This is a good opportunity to examine how we keep the commandment of God to keep holy His sabbath day, the day of the Lord’s Resurrection. As we approach the great celebration of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, we pray that that same Spirit may renew us in faith and enliven our hunger for the Lord.
