Planning and accreditation system: identified

accredited participants for various events, managed registration, access privileges. Transportation System: planning and scheduling

of transport services. Arrival and departure of athletes, VIPs.

INFORMATION DIFFUSION SYSTEM Provided information to media, athletes, judges,

coaches and sponsors via on site kiosks. Commentators information system: Java based

application displayed results on touch screen monitors at the broadcast venue in a fraction of a seconds.

Need for networks and backup technologies at OlympicsGOALS & CONSTRAINTS:y The deadline for Olympic Games was

nonnegotiable.y Reduce the amount of risk. y 100% availability.

keep a check on the movements generated at Olympics.
