• The 1992 Summer Olympics were
held in Spain in the city of
Barcelona.
• This is the first and only time the
Olympics have been held in Spain.

• Spain has won a total of 115 Olympic medals.
Only 2 of these were won at the Winter Olympics
(both for alpine skiing). All the rest were won at
the Summer Olympics.

cycling.
