TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. A deposit of £50 is required to book your place unless you take advantage of the Early Payment Discount (see clause 10). Where not benefitting from the discount the final balance is due no later than 28 days prior to the course start date.

2. Cancellation of your booking within 14 working days of the course start date will result in the loss of your full fee. Full sum less £15 admin charge will be refunded for cancellations made more than 14 days before course begins.

3. Your child may be excluded from the course if, in our opinion, his/her presence is detrimental to the well being of other students, in which case no refund will be given.

4. RSE Ltd accepts no responsibility for injury or damage to persons or property.

5. If RSE Ltd has to cancel the course we will reimburse any monies you have paid.

6. You will be asked to complete a Consent and Medical form before the course starts. This is to ensure we are able to handle any emergencies involving your child during the course.

7. If your child requires any medication whilst on the course you agree to inform a designated member of staff on arrival.

8. If your child shows any signs of being unwell whilst at Repton School, RSE Ltd staff will notify the emergency contact named on the Consent and Medical form.

9. Clothing and other property brought to Repton School must be marked clearly with your child’s name.

10. Discount - in recognition of our reduced costs where bookings are made and paid in full in advance, an Early Payment Discount of 10% may be deducted off the course fee by those who book and pay in full in a single payment by 30th June 2014.

11. Payment is regarded as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

HOCKEY COACHING For Boys & Girls aged 10 - 15 years

Elite Hockey Academy - Sunday 17th - Tuesday 19th August

Repton School is proud of its hockey facilities and impressive record of

producing international players, including Olympic medallist, Georgie

Twigg. Success can also be seen with Repton's school teams who have won

a National title for each of the last nine years.

The Elite Hockey Academy is led by Repton School’s Director of Hockey,

Martin Jones, an experienced player and coach with 118

International Caps for England and Great Britain. Martin

was English Premier League Player of the Season in 2005

and played in two World Cups for England. He has coached Repton to 20 National Titles in the past ten years

and, as player-coach, guided Beeston HC to the English

Premier League title for the first time in their history.

The Elite Hockey Academy provides intensive coaching by International players to 11 - 15 year olds (boys and girls) who have reached, or have the

ability to reach Junior Regional Performance Centre status. Although the

course is mainly residential, a small number of non-residential places will

be offered to include all meals and evening activities, but no

accommodation. The course starts at 1pm on Sunday 17th and finishes at

4pm on Tuesday 19th August.

Repton School Enterprises Hockey Courses are well

established in the hockey calendar and this summer we

will again run two three-day courses. The Elite Hockey Academy, an intensive, residential course for elite

players and the Hockey Development Course for those

who have not yet reached the standard required for the

Elite Course or who simply enjoy their hockey on a less

competitive basis.

Hockey Development Course -

Wednesday 20th - Friday 22nd August

Our popular, non-residential hockey course will also be held at Repton’s Sports Complex, utilising the School’s superb coaching & playing facilities.

The course will provide coaching in all aspects of the

game and is led by Simon Clague, former Wales

International and Repton's Master in Charge of Hockey

for 20 years. Like Martin, Simon is a key part of the

coaching team which has brought Repton to such prominence in youth hockey. Simon will be supported by

a team of young coaches who have progressed through

the school’s hockey system.

The course is appropriate for 10 - 14 year old hockey players (boys and

girls) from complete beginners to those at just below Junior Regional

Performance Centre Level. Course timing ensures that students are well

prepared for the new hockey season.

Each day begins at 9am, has a break for lunch, and ends at 4 pm. Players

should bring their own packed lunch. They are also asked to bring their own stick, gum-shield and shin pads (please ask if you require advice).

How much do the Courses cost?

Elite Hockey Academy - £320 inclusive of accommodation, all meals,

coaching etc. Non-residential option is £285 (see above). Places are limited so do book early to avoid disappointment.

Hockey Development Course - £135. Attendees should bring a packed lunch each day.

Where are the Courses being held?

Our courses fully utilise Repton School’s exceptional facilities. Coaching will be based at the School’s Sports Complex while residential students will

be accommodated in the School’s high quality boarding houses.
