The Problem

The Instructional Design and Technology program needed to accommodate students at a distance.

Bring the classroom to students at a distance with modification but little sacrifice of pedagogy and interaction

The Solution

A hybrid blended approach:

Hybrid = both synchronous and asynchronous

Blended = both in person and at a distance

• Began by utilizing the distance technology available in the Aerospace department

• Worked with Center for Instructional & Learning Technologies (CILT) to design less expensive, more accessible technology within the department (ED 202 and 308)
