    $1000 Provincial Scholarships

    Canadian citizen or landed immigrant

    At least 3 provincial exams A minimum of 86% for each of the three provincialexams, and need at least a B for English12

    Due dates for some local scholarships are in this time periodMake sure that your student profile is on file

    Be sure to write thank-you letters for successful applications

    Inform us of your successes so that we can celebrate them

    Reference Letters

    Think about who you want to write reference letters for you

    The person you ask should know you quite well

    The status of the person is less important than knowing you

    You MUST give them a copy of your rsum

    You MUST give them at least two weeks to write the letter

    If you have more than one application, ask for multiple copies

    If the letter is confidential, you can only get one copy

    Do not request a letter unless you plan to use it!

    Apply to me for a Principals Report or letter from Mr. Jackson

    Allow at least ONE MONTH for references from Mr. Jackson
