Works closely with Value Stream Manager to make commits to the customer, maintain build plans and meet customers’ requirements with the available company resources. Processed inventory counts on test panels for each Value Stream. Reviewed raw materials inventory and coordinated with buyer on any issues or concerns. Reviewed and distributed raw material inventory to the Gerber Department for all shifts and processed discrepancies. Generated Expiring Kits/Materials report weekly. This report was distributed to specific departments and emphasis was placed on reducing expired kits/material.

GKN Aerospace, Tallassee, ALExpeditor, 1990-1991Monitored part flow through the facility to ensure parts moved in a steady manner. Identified and helped remove any bottle necks that were keeping parts from flowing effectively. Typed labels and applied them to any of the parts that needed to be replaced. Coordinated with the manufacturing supervisor and employees on the priorities for the day. Worked the engineering on any problems that could affect the flow of parts. Managed Rework, Repair or Scrap parts that were either moved to a hold status or scrapped from system. This had to be done in a timely manner to maintain requirements supported schedule. Prioritized critical parts that were in rework to improve steady flow.
