PARENT OPINION SURVEY 2019

WE WANT OUR PARENTS TO TELL US WHAT THEY THINK

The opinions of parents at our school are an important indicator of how well the school is meeting the needs of our students, and the parents’ views are very important in the future planning and delivery of services and the curriculum. Each year a small group of parents are selected by the Department of Education & Training

(DE&T) to participate in our Parent Opinion Survey. This year aapproximately 30 per cent of

parents will be selected at random to complete the survey between Monday 22nd July and

Sunday 11th August.

The survey is confidential and anonymous.

The 2019 the survey will be conducted online by ORIMA Research Pty Ltd and only takes 15

minutes to complete. The survey can be accessed via desktop computer, laptop, tablet or mobile

connected to the internet via a secure portal. Computer facilities are available at our school office

for those families who are unable to complete the survey on their own devices.

Families are selected at random, and we are very grateful to those families for taking the time to

complete the survey during the dates above.

As a thank you for participating in this year’s survey, once completed, your child/children will

receive a complimentary bag of popcorn that can be claimed via the office. Your family will also

be entered into a draw for a complimentary ‘Pizza Lunch’ on the 17th September 2018

We really do appreciate your support with this.

Yours sincerely,

Anne Burgess

Principal

We celebrated 100 days of school. It was fun dressing up like a 100 year old person and to do activities. I liked playing ‘Race to 100’. By Mia 3A

Once upon a time there were 100 days of School. We played ‘Race to 100’ and ‘What equals 100’. A lot of people dressed up. I dressed up as an old man and Mia dressed up as an old lady. Everyone had fun.

By Riley 3A

On 100 days of school, we all dressed up as 100 year old people. We played a game ‘Race to 100’. It was good. Then we had a competition to see who was the best dressed as a 100 year old person. My friend Hailey, won the prize. It was a board game. 100 days of school was

great. By Jackson 4A

On Wednesday 24th we had our 100 days of school celebration day! We dressed up as 100 year olds and did lots of indescribably enjoyable activities. One activity was to write 100 equations that added up to 100. Another one was to draw an alien that had to have 10 different categories with 10 different things and each with their own colour. There were a lot of breath-taking, mind blowing costumes, and one person from each class took home a prize for the best dressed 100 year old person.

On Wednesday we celebrated 100 days of school. It was pretty funny seeing kids everywhere wearing Gandolf beards. Leroy and I played, ‘Old Man Disease’. It’s basically like gang up tag but HARDER. We had a small parade in the module and played different activities. By Chase 4/A
