•With the addition of pictures highlight some of the main features is good for it’s desired target audience as they might be visually attractive to the target audience

•The colour scheme of red, black and whites are go well with the magazine and show its consistency. It also gives a edgy, harsh tone to the magazines as the dark colours work well with the font they have chosen.

•The reviews and upcoming events also contemplate the magazine as it off those who are into rock and heavy metal interesting information.

•There is also the editors comment on this magazine that stands out on the right hand side which is what many music magazine do.

•The dark colour scheme of the page also correspond with genre of the magazine. The dark, mysterious nature of this magazine reinforces its heavy metal nature.

•The text used for ‘GRAND’ looks like the type of writing you would see on a grave stone which adds to the horror and dark nature to the magazine. This will appear to it chosen target audiences as it is very unusual and intriguing making the readers attracted to its uniqueness

•The fact that the image is black and white works well with the black background and white text used on the next page. It makes the feel as though we are being taken back in time which corresponds with the article.

•From looking at the page on the left there is an unknown tension and mystique nature behind it and those same feeling can be found from reading the next page.

•Both the left and right page are used to work together to create a tension, uncertainty and mysteriousness. The magazine itself is very mysterious and unusual and the double page spread confirms this ideology.

Language: language that is very casual. The language will appeal to it chosen target audience. This magazine focus is not about grammar but wholly on music.Institution:Ideology: the ideology of this magazine is to promote the heavy metal genre and those that are success in this industry.Audience: this will appeal to young adults who have a huge interest in the music industry and are interest in the heavy metal genre.Representation: the bold dark colours really appeal to the magazine niche specific audience. Therefore the use of dark and gothic colours represent the mysterious, dark and unknown nature of the heavy metal industry.

•On the contents page for my magazine they have included the date, the issue number and the website of the magazine. This is effective as the target audience will be able to follow the magazine online. It also shows that the magazine is contemporary as it has an online website which shows that is very current.

•The content page shows that the magazine is in favour of women dominance as it has a whole section dedicated to women in music. And that could show the audience that women in music are very successful i.e. Adele. And they can aspire to be like the iconic figures they see in the magazine.

•The colour scheme of the magazine is very vibrant and bold. The white, red and black writing is very similar to the front cover.

•LIIAR: Language: casual language is used so that it can appeal to their target audience.•Institution: Bauer Media Group•Ideology: the of Q magazine is to help promote the music of upcoming and successful artists•Audience and Representation: this is the representation of women the how successful they can be. Also the fact that she is wearing a little make up highlights the how confident and innocent she is and that represents the confidence of young successful music

•On right hand side of my magazine there is a big red J which represents the artist on the opposite page.

•There is a clear colour scheme as the J matches the red on the right hand side. The red could represent the determination of this artist.

•Also the J on the right hand side makes adds more effect as the page is filled with a lot of writing which might not appeal to the younger reader. Therefore adding a J adds more emphasise to the page and can appeal to the desired target audience.

•The juxtaposition of both pages creates a more dynamic approach to this music magazine. The contrast between the dark and light colours could appeal to the target audience as it creates a 3D effect and could give the illusion that the artist is emerging/hovering out of the page.

•The title on this page is ‘THE MOST EXPERIENCE ARTIST IN MUSIC –JAYZ’ this works well with the image as it shows his determination and the drive he has.

Language: language that is used is very informal language on the right page and this is so that it can appeal to the chosen target audience. For example ‘RapRadar’ this heightens how successful Jay-z is in the Rap industry.Institution: Bauer Media GroupIdeology: they’re magazine contains information about current artists and those who are climbing up the industry fast. Audience: this will appeal to teenagers and young adults as those who aspire to be in the music industry can follow their idols career through a magazine like this.Representation: the bold vibrant colours represent the chosen target audience as the colours are very bold and loud. And it could reflect the lively hood.
