QA Weld Tech operates from a 55,000 sqft facility on Riverside Park Ind. Est. Middlesbrough. As much as is possible work is carried out in-house to enable rapid turnaround and on-time delivery.

Innovation
Innovation has been at the forefront of much of what we do:
• Developing our adjustable jigs to enable pipespools to be fabricated with incredible accuracy, eliminating the need for “hot work” on site
• Developing carbon manganese buttering techniques to remove the requirement for post weld heat treatment of butt welds
• Using computer controlled hot wire TIG to overlay the intersecting bores of Wye pieces.
• A portfolio of 700 approved PQRs covering carbon steels, Super Duplex stainless, high nickel alloys and other exotic materials
• Automated TIG welding procedures
• Unique programmes to enable the weld overlay of complex shapes
