Good morning and welcome to our travel agency. Today we have a special packet-travel for your group. Because this class is the favorite Krishna’s English class, he want to recompensate us whit a special trip, because he has a good credit-rating.

So we have elected three places and now we are going to show you the characteristics of them.

Tahi is the world’s 50 th largest country in terms of total area. It has approximately 64 million people. Of these people 75% is ethnically, 14% is of Chinese origin, and 3 % is malay.

Thailand was the only country in Southeast Asia that was never ruled by European powers.

Bangkok is the most representative city and is the capital of government, education, and it is also Thailand main port.

The royal palace in Bangkok was the official home of the kings from the eighteenth century, although the current king doesn’t live there.

Many islands can be visited on Thailand. The monsoon rains of May-October can bring unpredictable swimming conditions, so we prefer you visit on February. One of the most beautiful beach is the island of Phuket which nicknamed is “Pearl of the south, because of its white sand, corals and deep lagoons. Here we can practice many sports such as snorkel.

But take a break in that point, because I want to remind you that on 26 December of 2004, the country was hit by a tsunami caused by the Indian Ocean earthquake. The Thai government reported 4800 confirmed deaths and many injuries. The principal problem was that there wasn’t any warming of the first wave, so people had no idea it was coming. Now these days Thai is better prepared for tsunamis as they are 3 hours away from being hit again.

So I want to emphases the humanity of Thailand’s people. Thailand is one of the world’s biggest rice producers and exporters.

The culture of Thailand has been influenced by Chinese, Cambodian and Indian. So they incorporate a lot of various traditions.

Buddhism is the official religion of Thailand. One major part of the culture includes praying to the Buddha.

Elephants and tigers used to live in the wild in Thailand they are now endangered, and conservation projects ensure that they survived and live in good conditions. As a datum elephants were used to move and lift rocks to search for victims and to clear roads in the tsunami that happen in the past. Many tourist could save their lives because when the tsunami came they were on top of the elephants and the elephant’s natural instinct to flee the sea saved the life of many of them.

The last datum I tell you is many films such as “Pirates of the Caribbean” or “The hangover” was filmed in this paradise.

So you can tell everyone that you stayed in amazing place not only for their landscapes but also for his people.
