System Set-up

Before turning on the power

• Verify incoming voltage at source

• Connect torch to power supply

• Connect plasma gas (air) to power supply

• Verify proper consumables are in torch

• Attach work clamp to workpiece (plate)

Plasma System Safety

Electric shock issues

• Operating a plasma cutting system completes an electricalcircuit. The workpiece is part of the circuit!

• Never touch the torch body or workpiece when the plasmasystems is operating.

• Do not touch any wet surface when using the plasma system.

• Do not move the work clamp during cutting operations.

• Always turn off the power supply before changingconsumables
