Using Layers - Step #1: Click the layers button on the toolbar to toggle between the model tree and layers.

Model without layers: There are several datum's / points / curves / axis and surfaces cluttering the model.

Reference layer tree setup(You can add / delete / rename layers by

right clicking in the layer tree)

Using Layers - Step #2: Right click on the desired layer and select layer properties. Once this is activated you can select the entities you want layered off.

For example – in the default csys layer, the default coordinate system is added

Using Layers - Step #3: Continue layering off all the desired entities. After the layers are organized, you can hide all of them to see only the solid model, or hide certain ones depending on what you’re trying to reference.

With all the layers hidden, you can see only the solid surfaces. When you need to reference a curve / datum plane / surface / etc. You can simply unhide the layer. This makes your model easier to view and easier for others to work with.
