BEST WEEKEND An Overnight activity Father-son and Mom-daughter

bonding activity. It is given in a YFC members third yearas a YFC.

This activity reinforces the YFCs role in the family as

he/she enters into a camp with his/her father/mother. It isa great venue for bonding and sharing between the fatherand his son and between the mother and her daughter.

In the same way, this will be an evangelistic experienceas well for the parents who are not members of CFC.

A whole-day, immersion-type activity, given in a YFC membersthird year as a YFC.

A venue for the YFC to appreciate more our faith through ourrelationship with the bigger Catholic Church

GENERAL GUIDELINES

1. Pastoral Planning. Pastoral Planning is done annuallybefore the start of the YFC year, it is ideally conducted inMarch or earlier

2. Different Roles. Note the complementary roles of the

Chapter and the Cluster when it comes to the differentYFC teachings.Chapter level - Youth Camp, YCT, Household and Chapter Assembly

3. Simultaneous with Chapter Assembly. The

implementation of the 3-year PFO will be simultaneouswith the Chapter Assembly - only those who have not yetattended a particular 3-year PFO will attend such, therest will push through with the Chapter Assembly

4. Area of Focus. Although the Pastoral Planning willinvolve both the Chapter and Cluster Youth Heads andCouple Coordinators, there are different planningconsiderations or area of focus for the Cluster and

Chapter levels, to wit:

Note: because of the different area of focus, the chapter and cluster level must

work hand in hand to ensure that the PFO tracks are carried out to all the

members.

1. On the 1st implementation of the new PFO, all the members of thechapter will attend the said PFO

3. If a member fails to attend a particular PFO, the chapter head (andcoordinator) will ensure that he/she attends the next time said PFObecomes available. The Chapter (with the approval of his/herCluster Head) can ask the member to attend the said PFO inanother cluster, if it the PFO is being conducted there.
