MASS INTENTIONS
Regarding Mass Intentions:
Due to the lack of Mass, the intentions for Masses during those days were not satisfied. There are three
options for those intentions requested: 1. Masses will be transferred to the existing masses unless directed
otherwise, 2. Have the stipend returned to you or donate it to the church, 3. Msgr. Oliveira, director of the
Missions in our Diocese, will see to it that the intention and stipend is sent to a missionary helping
the church in the missions. Should you have further concerns or questions, please call the office.

We know that some of you are wondering about the drawings for April and
dinner drawings. The hope is that in the Fall we will be able to have a dinner and do all of the missing drawings at that time. If a dinner is not possible we will just have the drawings.
If you are alienated or upset, we welcome you lovingly.
If you are in need of forgiveness, Jesus forgives and loves you unconditionally, and so do we.
If you have been hurt by the church, we are tru-ly sorry.
If you are angry, Jesus offers you peace.
If life is becomes burdensome, we are happy to support you.
We are happy you are here and want you to stay.
Come visit us each week and worship God with us!

HOW DOES A PERSON BECOME A CATHOLIC
“I have called you by name" Isaiah 43:1
“What is a holy moment? It is a moment when you do exactly what you sense God is calling you to do. (Matthew Kelly) Is this the moment that you know God is calling you to become fully initiated in the Catholic Faith. Are you ready to make yourself completely available to God at this moment? Take some time this week to seek information regarding the RCIA Program offered through the Catholic Community of New Bedford North by calling the office at 508-995-3593.
ADORATION
OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT The Holy Hour
will resume on Tuesdays
Our Lady of Fatima Church.
7:00pm—8:00pm
We will have Exposition
and Adoration of the
Blessed Sacrament on
TUESDAYS, during a Holy
Hour.
Adoration and Benediction
will be incorporated into the
Tuesday evening prayer
Group. The Holy Hour will
include the Rosary and the Chaplet of
Divine Mercy.
During the Holy Hour Fr. Raposo will be
available for confessions.
Please join us every Tuesday. All are
required to wear a face mask and maintain
social distancing until further notice.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
enables us to visually meditate on the
Lord’s presence to us by making ourselves
present to the Lord. Please consider
spending an hour in prayer and reflection
before the Lord.
Vocations Chalice
The Church, as we are all well aware of, is in need of dedicated men and women to serve God’s people as priest, deacons and religious men and women. Since during this time of
concern for the effects of COVID-19 it is not possible to host the Vocations Chalice in your home, why not consider reciting the following prayer for vocations daily in the safety of your home.
0 Jesus, Good and Gentle Shepherd grant that the men and women from our community, may have the grace and the courage to hear and answer Your call to priesthood, diaconate, and religious life.. Call forth those You have chosen to spread the gospel message, and help them to freely respond to a life of service in the church. May the parents and families of our parish, support and encourage our young men and women to search for, follow and answer the call of God in their lives. AMEN

Prayer to St. Thérèse,
the Little Flower
O Glorious St. Thérèse, whom Almighty
God has raised up to aid and inspire the
human family, I implore your miraculous
intercession. I fervently beseech you to
answer my petition…(here state your
request)...and to carry out your promises of
spending Heaven doing good upon earth.
Little Flower of Jesus, give me your
childlike faith, to see the face of God in all
people and experiences of my life, and to
love God with full confidence. Help me to
always believe, as you did, in God’s great
love for me, so that I might imitate your
“little way” each day. Amen.

STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT Both the first reading and the Gospel today speak of hospitality and welcome. Our ministers of hospitality are a most visible example of using one’s time and talents to welcome the people of God. But the Gospel assures us that all who give even just “a cup of water to one of His lowliest ones will be rewarded.” See Matthew 10:42 (Our Sunday Visitor, ibid., pages 11-12).
Sharing the Gospel Welcome people to your home, school, and church. Offer visitors a cup of water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, or juice. Share your food with those who are hungry. Share your clothing with those who need clothing. Find shelter for the homeless. Pray for the sick. Bury the dead. When disaster strikes, help people rebuild. When you welcome others, you welcome Jesus Christ. What you do for others, you do for God. Prayer Lord, thank you for giving me water to drink when I am thirsty.
