January 1 ~ The Octave Day of Christmas; So-lemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother
of God What a beautiful blessing to begin the new year: “May the Lord bless and keep you… let His face to shine upon you…” And then, the Gospel, the shepherds were among the first evangelizers – sharing the Good News. “… they made known the message that had been told them about this child. All who heard it were amazed by what had been told them by the shepherds.” We have that SAME message to make known. Here’s a good New Year’s resolution suggestion: pray about and practice how you will make known the message of Jesus, in your circle.

Evangelize
Thank you! to all who participated in our Evangelize this Christ-
mas program. The program was very well received and many ap-
preciated the kindness.
If you didn’t receive a book, there will be books at the back of the
Church. Feel free to take one.
The Fourth Annual Christmas Village and Toy Train Display has
once again made the trip from The North Pole to the Murphy Room. Christmas Elves Lloyd Gibbs, Ron Meisner, Pete Oui-met and Paul Beck collaborated on this year's creative display. The original concept and inspiration was a gift from Father Jerry Hogan who provided the animated Santa Train and many of the lighted ceramic houses and structures. Over time, other gifts have increased the train count to four track loops and in tribute to Father Jerry, a complete Circus Train with all the animals, clowns and outdoor circus rings. The display will be operational until after New Years, and guests are invit-ed after the 9:00 and 11:00 Masses on Sunday.
