PARAPHRASE

• WHAT?

• It is a restatement of a text written by another author in your own words.

• You should keep the original author’s meaning and tone.

• WHY?

• To help reader understand difficult material

• To avoid plagiarism

• HOW LONG?

• The same length as the original text

• 1- Read the original several times until you are sure you understand.

• 2- Understand the writer’s meaning

• 3- Do not find a synonym for each and every word, but

• 4- Include every essential idea contained in the original.

There are many differentstrategies that businessescan use to price theirproducts. Which one theychoose will depend on theircircumstances. In thissection, we will examinethree different pricingstrategies. We will look athow each works andexplore the reasons thatbusiness might choosethem.

Businesses can price theirproducts in many differentways. The business ownerswill choose according tothe conditions. Thischapter includes threestrategies of pricing. Eachof them will be studiedseparately and the reasonswhy they can be chosenwill be explored.• (Williams & Hill, 2010)

People’s shopping choicesare effected by numerousfactors. Sometimes the priceof the product is importantfor the buyers. Sometimesquality can overcome theprice and a higher will bepaid by the consumers to aspecific product. Brand namewill be the only determiningfactor for some goods andsome customers. In order tobe a successful marketer, onemust know all these factorsvery well.
