Notional CJ-CMIC Mission Statement

The mission of the Combined Joint Civil Military Information Center (CJ-CMIC) is to achieve coordination and unity of effort among organizations and partner nations delivering MEDCAPS, DENCAPS, ENCAPS, VETCAPS, SMEEs, and other relationship building activities during PACIFIC PARTNERSHIP. A CJ-CMIC is formed to:

• Exchange Information. • Perform liaison and coordination between military capabilities and

other agencies, departments, and organizations to achieve the goals of the mission.

• Direct the collection and analysis of assessments• The CJ-CMIC will serve as the primary coordination interface to

assist in operational and tactical level coordination between the command element and other stakeholders. Members of a CJ-CMIC may include representatives of U.S. military forces, Partner Nation military leaders and the international humanitarian community.

The CJ-CMIC is the meeting place of stakeholders and generally does not set policy or direct operations.
