They’re my favourite teachers, but they’re completely different. I love my Maths teacher Mr Addison. He’s very strict, and he doesn’t smile much. He’s 48 years old. He’s tall and has grey hair and a grey beard. In his class, you can’t talk to your classmates when he teaches. Every time a student talks, he points his finger at the student and says, ‘You! Stop that!’ He’s my favourite teacher because I can learn Maths very well in his classes. He’s very friendly outside the class, and he usually plays basketball with the children in the playground. Mr O’Brian is a totally different teacher. He’s our Science teacher. I learn a lot of things in his class because he doesn’t always read the lesson from the book. He usually tries to show us how things work. He’s 37 years old, and he’s very friendly in the classroom. I like his way of teaching. He plays games with his students and makes us love Science. 1 Copyright © Macenta Publishing & Digital Soluons 4-WS5

My favourite teachersHi, my name’s Josh, and today I want to talk about two of my teachers at school.

Stop that!’

He’s my favourite teacher because I can learn Maths very well in his classes. He’s very friendly

outside the class, and he usually plays basketball with the children in the playground.

Mr O’Brian is a totally different teacher. He’s our Science teacher. I learn a lot of things in his class because he doesn’t always read the lesson from the

book. He usually tries to show us how things work.

He’s 37 years old, and he’s very friendly in the classroom. I like his way of teaching. He plays games with his students and makes us love Science.

MY FRIENDS

ReadingE

VocabularyF

Hi, my name’s Lina. I think I’m lucky because I have the best group of friends. My best friends are Tammy and Patrick. They are very funny and interesting. We always talk about interesting things. We talk about things we’ve got and our likes and dislikes.

We don’t share the same interests, but we try to learn from each other. For example, I love taking pictures and playing video games, but Tammy and Patrick don’t. They are into art. Tammy likes painting pictures of parks and forests, and Patrick prefers making short films. I’m not good at painting, and I haven’t got time to make short films, but I really like to learn painting and filmmaking from them.

There is one thing all of us like. We all like camping in the forest near our town. When we go camping, I take photographs of the trees and animals around us, Tammy paints pictures of the forest, and Patrick makes short films about the animals and insects there.
