Health and Wellbeing PE with Joe. Live on YouTube at 9am, Monday-Friday. We also use Go Noodle in class. The children could follow the dance routines and devise their own. As we are exploring Japan, you could look at the Japanese Sport Judo and practise a few moves. Judo was created as a physical, mental and moral exercise in Japan, in 1882, by Jigoro Kano. It is generally categorized as a modern martial art which later evolved into a combat and Olympic sport. https://kids.kiddle.co/Judo

Learning Across the Curriculum Konnichiwa Room 6, a new phrase for you this week is O genki desu ka (o- genki- des- ka) How are you?, you will soon have enough phrases for a full conversation. Sumdog are running a free mathematics contest for all schools in South Lanarkshire. The contest starts on Friday, May 15 - it will be great if Room 6 can take part!

They only need to play for an hour or so during the whole week period to get a competitive score. Sumdog’s questions are based on accuracy and are tailored to each

student's level – so everyone has a fair chance of winning.

I am missing you all so much and would like to hear how you are doing. You can send me messages on email about your work or just to say hi and tell me

what you have been up to.
