Band News:By Mrs. Dia Langellier

Spread the word: Iles' 6th grade band is in need of an am-plifier for their keyboards and we have applied for a grant on the "Donor's Choose" website. If you would like to donate to the cause or know someone who would donate, please have them visit the webpage:<http://www.donorschoose.org/donors/proposal.html?id=324329&sharebar=true>http://www.donorschoose.org/donors/proposal.html?id=32...Send emails to all your friends and family. The more people that know about it, the more likely Donor’s Choose will raise enough money to grant our request. I am also applying for Essential Ele-ments 2000 books for my Feit-shans students. Feitshans is a high poverty school and many of the

band students cannot afford to buy their band book. If you'd like to help, go to Donorschoose.com and look for our Essential Ele-ments post. It has not been posted yet but when that gets posted, I will put that webpage address on my website.

Band T-shirt order forms are going out today. If you child needs a band t-shirt, please have that form turned in by Oct. 19, with the money attached.

We have had lots of students vol-unteer to play for the Public Schools Foundation Bookfair at Barnes and Noble on Oct. 24th. Look for us between 2 and 5pm.
