Common Starling. Adult. Female: adult female and 2nd year birds with some small pale spots on body feathers (1); with evident and large pale spots on upper (2) and undertail (3) coverts. Estornino pinto. Adulto. Hembra: hembra adulta y aves de 2º año con algunos puntos claros en el plu-maje corporal (1); con nítido y amplio moteado claro en supra (2) e infracoberteras (3) de la cola.

Spotless Starling. Adult. Female: adut female and 2nd year birds without pale spots on body feat-hers (1); with unspotted uppertail coverts (2); if undertail coverts are spotted then with very small spots (3). Estornino negro. Adulto. Hembra: hembra adulta y aves de 2º año sin puntos claros en el plumaje cor-poral (1); sin moteado en las supracoberteras de la cola (2); si las infracoberteras caudales tienen mo-teado entonces con motas muy pequeñas (3).
