Settling In• We would normally have had Stay and Play sessions for the

children in the Summer term and Home Visits in September.

However this will not be possible this year due to COVID-19.

• From the week beginning Tuesday 1st September 2020, instead

of home visits, we will be telephoning you during the week to

ask you a few questions about your child.

• Due Government guidance, we will be unable to have parents inside

the school building. Therefore it is going to be difficult for the

children to settle. Over the summer holiday please talk to your child

about starting school, walk past the school and show them that is

where they will be going. Get them used to staying without you at a

family members house. It may take a few weeks for them to settle

in. They may only stay for a short time or do a couple of days. We

will work with each family on an individual basis according to the

needs of your child. I am sure that you understand the situation. We

want a smooth transition as possible for the children.

If they still continue with the behaviour then they move to RED! This is when

they will have to have time out in another classroom OR go and see a

member of the Senior Management Team!
