PlayFitFunisanactivepartnerinsupportingourstudentswithphysically,socially,andemotionallyhealthyactivitiesforstudentsafterschool.Thisonce-a-weekopportunityprovidesstudentswithanotherwaytoconnectwitheachotherandtofeelpartoftheschoolcommunity.Weknowthatphysicalhealthcontributestoacademicgrowth.

Goals:Withallofourpartnersweareworkingonwaystoreachouttoourdiverseparentsandguardians.Wearechargedtosupportfamiliesinneedandestablishparentnightsthataredrivenbyparentneedsandrequests.Process:WeareintheprocessofcoordinatingajointeffortwithKinnamanElementaryandAlohaHighSchool.WehaveauniqueopportunitywhereallofKinnamanstudentsfeedthroughMountainViewandintoAHS.AllthreeprincipalsandMattChorpenning(SHINE)willbemeetinginDecembertostrengthenourcommunitytogether.ServiceAction:WearescheduledtoassistJesuitHighSchoolintheholidayfooddrivethisNovember.Theywillbeprovidingfoodboxestoapproximately30ofourfamiliesovertheholiday.OurcounselorsandadministratorswillbehelpingJesuitpackagetheboxesanddeliver.
