Atmostschools,admissionpriorityisgiventochildrenwhoareEnglishLanguageLearners, are eligible for free or reduced meals, or are receiving Early ChildhoodSpecialEducationservices.

ECFEprovideshomevisitsforfamilieswithchildrenbirthtokindergartenenrollment.HomevisitsfollowthestandardECFEmodel.Themodelconsistsofthreecomponents:parent/childtogethertime,parenttimeandchildtime.Forparentsthereisdevelopmentalinformationandreferralstocommunityresources.Forchildrenthereareage-appropriatelearningactivities.Thechildren’slearningactivitiessupportgrowthinthefourdevelopmentaldomains;cognitive,social/emotional,languageandphysical/motor.
Homevisitsareforfamilieswhowantmoreoneononeinteractionormaynotfeelcomfortableinagroupsetting.Ahomevisitorcancometoyourhouseonceaweekoreveryotherweek.Thevisitsinvolveinteractionbetweenparentandchildandlastforaboutanhour.
