Stepping Stones - transition to preschoolPreschool ages 3 & 4 yearsWelcome to your child’s first preschool experience! This class combines the best of both worlds: Traditional ECFE and Preschool.

Tuesday afternoons are a typical ECFE class. During parent/child interaction time, the licensed early childhood teacher will set up fun activities that encourage emerging literacy and mathematical thinking skills. Parents meet with a parent educator to discuss the adventure of parenting a preschooler. You will build on goals you have set for your child. Parents meet twice a year with the early childhood teacher to evaluate these goals. Thursdays you will drop your child off for their preschool experience. Children will practice developing social skills by sharing, taking turns, using manners, pretending, following directions and listening…all in a play-based environment.

Not potty trained? No worries. Children are not required to be potty trained to attend this class.
