has been carried out by means of the Pulfrich photometer with a special device using filter CL1 (mercury vapour lamp 1KQE-40 as a source of excitation). Results are read from a calibration curve prepared from a standard solution. This curve is linear up to 50 rag.
I n order to ver i fy the re l i ab i l i ty of the m e t h o d described, de t e rmina t ions were car r ied ou t in para l le t b y the po la rographic and g rav imet r i c me- thods [3]. l~csults are shown in the Table . No interference has been found in the de t e rmina t ions of such compounds as o r thohydroxybenzo ic and s tear ic acids, s t a rch and glucose. Yet , on the o ther h a n d the de te rmina- t ion is no t possible in presence of all d ica rboxyl ic acids ( tar tar ic , mal ic ba rb i tu r i c acids).

Die gas-ehromatographisehe Analyse yon Tri-n-butyl-phosphat in Proben, die Wasser und andre Vertmreinigungen enthalten, haben A. A2EL]3LAT und A. HO~IK [1] durehgeffihrt. Sie benutzten einen F & M-Gaschromatographen, Modell 810, mit W~rmeleitf/ihigkeitsdetektor, 1 mV-Honeywell-Poecorder und Disc-Integrator. Mit einer 2 m-Kolonne ( ~ 0,6 era), die mit 200/0 Apiezon L auf Diaport-S (60--80 mesh) geffillt war, erzie]ten Verff. bei Temperaturprogrammierung yon 115~ (1 min) bis
