EDITING PROCESS

We imported our raw footage into iMovie and from there selected which footage we wanted to include.

Footage that was not underlined with orange is not used in the product and looks like this.

Footage underlined orange have been used in the final production. The reason not all the footage was underlined was because some of it was cut as it was unnecessary or not wanted.

Once the appropriate footage has been selected we edit it together and make something like this.

The green line underneath represents what music is included (done by Aleks)

The blue lines above represent what titles are included (done by Ryan)

The boxes in between the footage is the transitions we used for fading and flashbacks. (done by Ryan)

The final product was kept in a folder named ‘THE UNFORGIVEN’ so as to keep it separate from past projects.

This footage was edited by my working partner Aleks. He edited in the muzzle flashes, blood effects and gun fire sounds.

The footage is edited using layers.

Well Aleks finished editing each piece of footage, he would render them so they could be imported into iMovie and used for the final product.
