EDITING FOOTAGE

When we got all the footage that we needed we began to edit and put the clips together. We worked as a group and everyone had an input in what goes where and when.

FONT

We are using iMovie to edit our film and font for the titles and credits that will appear in our opening. We want to keep the theme of the titles the same to keep it consistent and incoherent with each other.

MAKING A PROP

This is me on day 5 of the filming. Before we went out to film as a group we decided that we will create a eviction notice that Shaun will be reading at the café in Hampstead Heath.I used word documents to create this. We then printed it out and folded it into an envelope.

GARAGEBAND

This is an mac software where you can produce your own soundtrack. So far we’ve created a soundtrack for the opening. Next step is to make it in sync with the images on screen with our film.

When we recorded the voice over of Rochelle we had to import the recording onto iMovie.

We saved the recording on iTunes, then imported onto iMovie, then dragged it onto the clip.

This is a timeline of our opening. We opened up garageband and played the soundtrack that we was producing to see if it worked well and in time with the film.

TITLES

After doing the title sequence for ‘This is England’ we knew how important it is to include the titles and credits in the opening sequence. Therefore during editing we including the names of distributor, associations , co-productions, studios ect. This is so that we have the conventions needed for an opening sequence.
