Private Study

The BTEC Engineering course is one where the work you do in the Workshop and in the Classroom is continually assessed. We will ask you to do private study if you have got behind with work or there are deadlines that you need to meet – it depends on the stage of the course and how close you are to meeting Merit and Distinction requirements!

What materials will I need to provide?

Due to the workshop element of the course all students may need to have a set of overalls and a pair of steel toe-cap boots. These can be loaned from the engineering department or they could be purchased before you start the course.
