Age: as young as 2nd grade to high school. Level: Cubelets are good for understanding the different characteristics of a robot. So different levels were learn and understand different things. And they’re fun for tinkering. Group size / preparation: depends on number of cubelets you have. The more the merrier. And you can never have too many batteries or wheels.Duration: 20 – 30 minutes per group. Batteries last a long time and are re-chargable.

Program Ideas: Outreach to schools. Teacher training workshops. 2nd grade class. Students created mazes (template was 5.5x6” squares) and working in

groups they wrote the code to get Beebot through the maze. In the library: Passive programming. Beebots were left out for parents and preschoolers to

learn and play together.
