accudraft Truck Series TXThe accudraft TX series is the ultimate in refinishing areas. Our units are custom fit to your specifications. Every 30' of length has an additional air make up for even balancing of heat as well as for maximum air flow. Dividing doors are available to allow for two smaller jobs to be performed at the same time.

• No more “oil canning” effect with our use of more structurally sound steel. Improper handling, installation, or attachment to misaligned steel supports can cause “oil canning”.

• 5⁄16" bolts versus industry-standard 1⁄4" bolts for tighter, more secure bolting. Our nut and bolt construction provides consistent structural stability and makes for simpler installation. Our booths can also be easily uninstalled and reinstalled if necessary.

• Standard tri-fold doors have adjustable slotted-hole hinges, not weld-on ones, making it much easier to position and install the booth doors.

• Very installer-friendly booth construction and design that offers you a substantial savings during installation - taking up to 25% less time to complete the job.

Heating System• Each premium efficiency industrial

direct-fired burner is capable of producing 2,500,000 Btu/hr output with either natural or LP gas.

• Maximum output 70°F temperature rise during the paint cycle. 160°F temperature rise during the bake cycle.

• These USA burners are engineered for high efficiency and low cost operations and maintenance. During the bake cycle the booth recirculates 80% and inputs 20% fresh air. The temperature is controlled by a programmable microprocessor with state of the art electronics, (AT) Auto Tuning. This exclusive feature allows you to tune the burner with the push of a button.

This is an example of an alternative method of “Looping” the eye to clear low obstacles such as running boards.

Simply feed the strap through the eye before pushing the strap through the ratchet.

Note: It might be necessary to rotate the Ratchet Assembly 180 degrees to help clear low obstacles.

Setting Up the System on an angled RailIn these examples the Right & Left Pivot Shaft Assemblies are shown. The Pivot Shafts were designed to accommodate frame rails that are angled, such as near the wheel well.

Col-Met Paint Booths

FG Elite Series Sanding Station*Col-Met’s ATR Sanding Stations draw in clean and filtered air to create a safer environment for sanding applications.

Prep Station*Col-Met’s ATR Prep Stations use a pressurized fan and ceiling filter bank to draw fresh air downward into the station. Our prep stations offer flexible and efficient preparation in a limited spray area.

Closed-Top, open-Front (CToF) work Station*Creating an unlimited open spray area, our CTOF Work Stations provide maximum finishing versatility for prep and painting applications. The CTOF provides an optimal environment for quick finishing applications, and is available in either cure or recycle/cure configurations.

* All stations are available in downdraft, semi-downdraft, heated, non-heated and recycle/cure configurations.

Booth Configurations CrossdraftIntakes fresh air through door filters, which is drawn through the booth and exhausted through a filter system at the opposite end. Available in pressurized, non-pressurized, solid-back, drive-through and reverse-flow designs.

Side DowndraftAir is pulled downward from filter banks located in the ceiling, and flows down and away from the application through floor level exhaust filters on both sides of the booth. Available in both solid-back and drive-through designs.

Modified DowndraftCombines the features of the Crossdraft and Downdraft booths.

Pit DowndraftIt takes fresh air from the upper levels of the shop through filter banks in the ceiling. Filtered air is drawn down and around the application throgh a filtered pit exhaust system in the floor underneath the booth.

– Hinged Filter Rack Equipped with an easy-to-change filter rack, the ATR FG booth

comes supplied with one set of UL-rated, Class 2 filters for both the intake and exhaust racks.

– Lights Full-booth illumination is supplied from twelve UL-listed, four-tube, 48" long, 32-watt fluorescent light fixtures. (optional) Inside access light fixtures available.

– Mini-Pit (optional) Exclusive only to Col-Met, our 4.5" high mini-pit arrives pre-balanced with

the air makeup unit for optimal finishing conditions.

All balancing plate configurations are done prior to shipping, allowing for faster and accurate installation. The ATR mini-pit can also be retrofitted to fit any booth Configuration.

– Intake Plenum Fabricated from 18-gauge galvanized, powder-coated steel. Insulated intake plenum (optional) is available to help reduce heat loss.

– Double-Wall Frontal Frontal walls are constructed of double-sided, 20-gauge, premium quality galvanized steel, with 2" of insulation and powder-coated white on both sides.

– Air Makeup Unit EZ Heat and Cure air makeup unit supplies conditioned and filtered air evenly throughout the booth. Capable of saving up to 40% in energy costs, our air makeup unit delivers enhanced fuel efficiency while effectively removing particulates from the air stream.

– Control Panel UL-listed digital power and control panel manages air makeup unit,

exhaust fan, lighting, variable frequency drive (VFD), and (optional) energy-saver modes.
