IT is hereby notified; for public information, that the follow-’ing provisions shall apply in tespect of the sale of aerialphotographs, diapositives, enlargements of aerial photographsand mosaics, the use of the Surveyor-teneral’s library ofaerial photography and the loan of aerial survey film, witheffect from Ist July, 1980:— ‘ ,
1. This notice may becited as the Surveyor-General (Aerial .Photographs and Library) Notice, 1980, -2. The-price of aerial photographs, diapositives, enlarge-ments of’ aerial photographs andmosaics sold by the Surveyor-General shall be according to the scale set out in the Schedule,3. Any person who wishes to consult the Surveyor-General’slibrary of ‘aerial photographs, but does not wish fo ‘purchase a | ©photograph, will bé required to pay a search fee of 25 cetitsper pair of photographs used. : 54, (1) The Surveyor-General may lend films of aerial photo- |
graphs to a borrower approved by him, subject to the follow-ing conditions— - | : SC@) the borrower shall not removethe’ film from Zimbabwe;(b) a film shall not be issued on loan for any period

Conditions for Acceptance of Copy
FAILURE to complywith any of the following conditionswill result in the rejection of copy, and no responsibility canbe accepted if such rejection should affect any date containedin such copy or any requirement of publication on a specificate. .
Persons drafting any kind of notices are strongly advised tofollow the guidance offered in—
(a) the Instructions Relating to the Drafting and Typing ofLegislation (Attorney-General’s Circular 1 of 1978); and
(b) the Manualof Style for the Drafting and Preparation ofCopy, published by the Department of Printing andStationery;
which two booklets are intended for complemental use.In these conditions, other than where a particular kind of
copy is specified, “copy” means copy for all matter containedin the Gazette itself and for subsidiary legislation issued assupplements to the Gazette. a
1. (i) Other than by prior arrangement, only original-typing is accepted. 7 ,
(2) Carbon-copies are not: normally acceptable, otheran in cases where the original typing has to be legally
retained elsewhere, as, for example, in thecase of a proclama-on. . ,
(3) Computer print-outs are not acceptedautomatically,as discussion may be necessary with regard to the extra timeand costs involved.
2. (1) All copy must be clear and legible, and there must.be ‘acableor oneand& half spacing between the lines. —
(2) Any corrections or alterations made by the originatormust be clearly effected in blue or black ink: ~ a!

6. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained inthese conditions, any copy—
(a) which is-.of national importance, aid > whichisoriginated as a matter of urgent necessity, may, byprior arrangement; beaccepted late for the currentweek; .. ~
may, due to shortage of ‘staff or to technicalconsiderations, be delayed until conditions permit
its processing.

(i) In cases where notices have to be ‘published. intabular form, copy must be drafted exactly as it is to appear.If printed forms for any such notices are. unavailable,advertisers must prepare their own forms. While it is notnecessary to include the preamble, the box-headings must be ~there, and, ‘where applicable, the number of the form; forexample, “Insolvency Regulations—Form 3”,

‘ SHERIEF'S SALES
