The First Topic is the motivation for travel these are the reasons why people travel , according to the several studies.

1.Escape-people wants to escape from their daily routines, they want to escape from their work. They are traveling because they want to get away from their everyday doings

2. Relaxation-people travel because they want to relax, to enjoy

3. Relief of Tension-people want to refresh their minds, from ringing of telephones, doing paper works to something which is peaceful

4. Sunlust-people also travel because they want to enjoy the sun , especially those who lived in cold countries.

5.Physical- Some people wants to experience adventure like mountain climbing, waters sports and other Physical-Related activities

6. Health- people not only travel because of pleasure, some are for health, it is called medical Tourism, Example People from United States go to Thailand for plastic surgeons because the treatment there is cost much lesser than their country

7.Family Togetherness–Families travel together especially when Holidays.

8.Interpersonal Relations – people also travel to meet new people

9.Roots or Ethics–those who are raised in other country and they want to know about their Roots. Examples

A half Filipino – American, born and raised in America and wants to know About the Philippines.

10. Maintain Social Contacts – these are people who have friends in other countries.

11. Convince Oneself of One’s Achievements - some people travel because they want to raise themselves to other-traveling to other countries.

12. Show one’s Importance to others - just like I’ve said, traveling to other countries gives more Importance to oneself from other people.

13. Status and Prestige – Traveling to other countries enhances ones confidence gives recognition and good reputation.

14.Self-Discovery – some people travel because they want to find themselves. What they want or seeking something.

15. Culture – people also travel because they want to experience other Culture example Americans go to the Philippines to experience Culture of the Filipino’s

16. Education – Educational Fieldtrips or taking a Degree to other country helps to Improve oneself.

17. Professional Business – Business Trips, Conventions and other Business-Related Trips also Included Why People are traveling.

18. Wanderlust – these are the reason of people Travel, they want to experience new, trying Adventures Act, finding new Activities

19. Interest in Foreign Areas – Curiosity is also a Motivation in Traveling, Ex. Going to Korea because they want to meet their K-Idols.

20. Scenery – Traveling also motivated by the Beautiful scenery of one country .It is either natural or man-made.

There are Four Classes of Basic Travel Motivators

1.Physical Motivators – this include those related to Physical rest, Sports Participation, Beach Recreation, Relaxing Entertainment, and other Motivations directly Connected with Health.

2. Culture Motivators – Include the Desire to know about other countries their Music , Art , Folklore, Dances, Etc.

3.Interpersonal Motivators – Pertain to the desire to meet other people, visit Friends or Relatives, Escape from Routines, form Family and neighbors.

4. Status and Prestige Motivators – concern ego needs and Personal Development. Included in this group are trips related to business, Conventions, Study and Pursuit of hobbies and Education . Travel would enhance one’s Recognition and Good Reputation.
