Two property management companies, located in Paris, wanted to access service and real-time operation data to track elevator service as part of their offering to the tenants, and to rethink their business model.

Otis provided them APIs with elevator availability, maintenance insights, and traffic per floor data.

The new solution helps the companies, who own multi-tenant buildings, to measure the elevator usage per tenant. Their objective is to change their business model from a rented-square meter approach to a usage-based approach.

Case Study: CDL, SingaporeOtis eCall™ API integrated into a smart building app

CDL, owner of the Republic Plaza building in downtown

Singapore, wanted to attract new tenants and improve elevator

service as part of their building and elevator modernization.

The team from Otis helped to design and integrate the eCall API

into their smart building contactless app, called CityNexus.

The new solution helped CDL to re-open their building safely to

tenants while reducing the time it takes to get to any of the

buildings 66 floors by as much as half.
