SUBJECT: LIQ2019-00049 – New application - ADAMS COUNTY dba AVIATOR BAR & GRILL FROM: Brandan Slattery AGENCY/DEPARTMENT: Community and Economic Development RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the Adams County Liquor and Marijuana Licensing Authority Board Approve a New Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License for: ADAMS COUNTY dba AVIATOR BAR & GRILL BACKGROUND: Applicant, David E. Ruppel of ADAMS COUNTY, is seeking to be approved for a New Hotel/Restaurant Liquor License at AVIATOR BAR & GRILL located at 5200 Front Range Parkway, Watkins, CO 80137. All fees associated with the concurrent review application for the New Hotel/Restaurant Liquor License were received on July 11, 2019. Applicant owns the property. Business Solutions Group Mapping of buffer/boundaries. Report of Esquire Petitioning Services, LLC to Establish the Needs and Desires of the Neighborhood. The neighborhood boundaries for this application had been established by applying the criteria of designation of such neighborhood boundaries.
AGENCIES, DEPARTMENTS OR OTHER OFFICES INVOLVED: Planning had no comment. Code Compliance had no comment. Building Safety had no comment. Review by planning is ongoing. Any comments or concerns will be addressed in the Public Hearing on the application. PETITION RESULTS: OEDIPUS, INC. – The response of the area reflected 93.42% support of a new Hotel / Restaurant Liquor License by the residents and business owners/operators, based upon needs and desires. There was a total of 71 in favor 5 opposing, 0 opposing issuance based on needs/desires, leaving a total base figure of 71 in favor = 100%.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION Applicant and Liquor Manager have undergone a fingerprint-based background check performed by CBI and the FBI. ATTACHED DOCUMENTS:
1. New-Concurrent Hotel/Restaurant Liquor License Application 2. Warranty Deed proving Ownership of Property. 3. As prepared by the Business Solutions Group: Tabular database of properties within 1
mile of the proposed licensed establishment and Maps visually designating the 6-mile census block buffer and buffer parcels.
