No. 1383.IN pursuance of the provisions of section 10 ofthe Fisheries Act, 1905-1956, I, the Governor ofthe State of Western Australia, by and with theadvice and consent of the Executive Council, dohereby prohibit all persons from taking any fishwhatsoever by means of fishing nets in any ofthe portions of Western Australian waters speci-fied in the schedule hereto from 1st January,1961, to 31st December, 1965, inclusive.

Schedule.The whole of the waters of the Channel

Entrance to Peel's Inlet (Mandurah) bounded onthe north by a line drawn in an easterly directionfrom the extremity of the western point of en-trance (at the bar) to a point on the mainlandon the eastern shore, and on the south by linesdrawn in an easterly direction from the south-eastern corner of Mui'ray Location No. 5 to thesouthern extremity of Channel Island; thence tothe south-western extremity of Creery Island andby its southern foreshore to the eastern extremityof that island; thence by a line drawn in a north-easterly direction to a point on the foreshore ofthe mainland.

The whole of the waters of the SerpentineRiver, the Murray River and the Dandalup River(including estuaries, tributaries, lakes and lagoonsthe waters of which during any time of the yearhave access directly or indirectly to the sea) lyingnorth, east and south-east of a line drawn from apoint on the eastern foreshore of Peel's Inletsituated east of the southernmost point of Goon-goolup Island and extending in a westerly directionhalf a mile; thence in a northerly direction to theforeshore of Peel's Inlet to a point lying west ofthe western side of the entrance to the SerpentineRiver.

The whole of the waters of the Harvey Riverand that portion of the Harvey Estuary south ofa line, being the prolongation easterly to the east-em shore of the estuary of the northern boundaryof Murray Location No. 479.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.Police T.O. 58/456.

HIS Excellency the Governor, acting by and withthe advice and consent of the Executive Council,hereby makes the following order under section 49of the Traffic Act, 1919-1959, namely: That thePingelly Road Board is hereby empowered to makeby-laws in pursuance of

clause (a) of paragraph (i) of subsection(1) of section 47 of the said Act, prescrib-ing the rules to be observed in respect ofany vehicle being driven or used on roads,and the use of footpaths;clause (y) of paragraph (i) of subsection(1) of section 47 of the said Act, provid-ing for the placing, erection or installa-tion on roads or footpaths of traffic signs,lights and directions for the control anddirection of traffic, both vehicular andpedestrian, and including the driving ofanimals, for the marking on roads or foot-paths of signs for the control and direc-tion of the traffic and for the regulationand prohibition of the traffic in relationto the signs, lights and directions;clause (zd) of paragraph (i) Of subsection(1) of section 47 of the said Act, appoint-ing stands and parking places for dif-ferent classes of vehicles and regulatethe use thereof;clauses (zl) and (zm) of paragraph (i)of subsection (1) of section 47 of thesaid Act, prohibiting or restricting theparking of vehicles or vehicles of a speci-fied class or classes in all loads or inspecified roads, or specified parts of roads,at all times or at specified times, andprescribing a penalty for any breachthereof;

subject to the condition that no such by-law shallbe valid and effectual unless it has prior tonotification of its making being published in theGovernment Garette, been submitted to andapproved by the Governor.
