We believe that direct carrier billing (DCB), the ability for customers to pay for goods and services using their existing mobile carrier pre-paid or post-paid account, is key to mobile-centricity as it offers significant advantages over other new or established mobile payment methods (e.g., frictionless consumer convenience increase purchasing conversions, reduced credit and fraud risk, global reach and inclusion to unbanked populations).

At the same time, mobile operators are increasingly viewing DCB as a strategic move

to position them at the center of the mobile money and payments revolution.Merchants and over-the-top service providers who implement DCB as a preferred payment method report seeing increases in customer conversion for their products and services.

As we evolve DCB with new features and func-tionality, our clients will be able to develop new innovative payment flows and business models, creating even greater value from their products and services.

Our coverage deliberately focuses on high reach mobile operators across monetizable populations with disposable income and where regulatory regimes favor DCB business models.
