Helping People Connect to Themselves and their Communities.
Creative Arts Therapy is defined as the use of an art (painting, poetry, dance, music, etc.) to promote wellness and general well-being. Manycompanies are adding to creative arts therapy to their wellness pro-grams, to help their employee manage the stress of life in the 21stcentury, thus creating “creative wellness programs.”
First and foremost, our programs are desinged to connect participantsto themselves and their community. By providing a platform for cre-ative expression, we help participants connect to themselves. By pro-viding a safe, friendly atmosphere, we help participants connect to theircoworkers or community.
In addition, each of our programs contain the following three elements:
1. Mindful breathing at the beginning and end2. Time for reflection on the program3. Sharing with peers
“Medical costs can be up to $1,500 higher per employeein organizations without a wellness program. The returnon investment in wellness programs can be as much as $6saved for every $1 spent.
