ESTABLISHED BRANDS

This was a project for one of my graphic design classes at the University of Tampa. I created the logo, envelope, letterhead, and business card designs to rep-resent a flower shop located in LA. The main colors used in this design are pale pink and light green. The logo was created with the font Zapfino, which has long ascenders and descenders, creat-ing a stem-like feel. The body text is a sans serif, Century Gothic.

I created the logo for Mary TV along with the business cards, let-terhead, and envelope designs. The main color used in this style of branding is a light shade of blue with black text and a white back-ground. The colors and graceful-ness of the branding evoke a very Marian feel, capturing the spirit of Mary TV. The fonts used in this design are Trajan Pro, for head-ings, and Goudy Old Style for the body text.

I created the logo, above, for a logo design contest for the Rorate Cæli Purgatorial Society. My logo design was not selected, but did receive an honorable mention on their website. It was requested that the logo be in the form of a shield with the title text in the font Trajan Pro. I designed the addi-tional prayer card to complement my logo design. The main colors I used in this design are maroon, gold, and cream, which is typical-ly associated with the Latin Mass.

I was commissioned by Richard Vigilante to create the logo, above, for a new Catholic orga-nization called Teach for Christ. Their mission is to recruit, train, and place college students and recent college grads to teach, tutor, and support Catholic schools around the nation. It was requested that the logo be in the form of a shield with a cross in the middle. The main color utilized here is a dark red, repre-senting Christ’s passion and love. © 2015

I created the following items using the established branding and logos designs of Chesterton Academy. Navy is the main color in their color scheme with gold and maroon used as supplementary colors. The fonts in their brand include Trajan Pro, Adobe Caslon Pro, and Gotham Book. The main logo, above, is seen on each item and a secondary logo is seen on the business card I designed.

In 2015, I was commissioned by Cara Stuchlik to create the Faith Formation Documents for the Church of Saint Mark, seen on the following page. The items to the right were created using the cur-rent color scheme and established logos designs for the Church of Saint Mark. Reds and browns make up the majority of the col-ors, but blue is used for the logo and Saint Mark’s School designs. Fonts used here are Raleway and Stone Serif. © 2015

I created the following items using the established branding and logos designs of Maurices. The main color is a light teal and a bright orange is used as an accent color. The font used in this design is mainly Avenir Next, which is the closest typeface I could find that resembles the Maurices brand. In the advertisements on the fol-lowing page I use another font, called Affair, which is used only for word emphasis.

The main color used in this brand is a bright green along with gray and black as supplementary colors. Typically, a parchment paper background is used with the fonts Trajan Pro, Baskerville, and Stone Sans. Inspired by Disney’s live action Cinderella movie, I decided to capture this wise advice from a princess and put it on T-shirts, mugs, phone cases, pillows, key chains — you name it! This text design was created with the font called ItsHoliday, which has a very whimsical and airy feel about it. The blue gradient hearkens back to Cinderella’s ballgown and the butterflies add a magical touch, fluttering between the words. It’s quite an enchanting design and it was very fun to create.

As a fan of the popular TV dram-edy, Gilmore Girls, I decided to create a design based on the catch phrase of the Life and Death Brigade — in omnia paratus, which is Latin for ready for all things. In the show this group is seen as a very elitist group; one of high so-cial class. For this reason I chose the color purple to represent their high status since purple has been associated with royalty and upper class for centuries, which stems from the rarity and cost of the dye originally used to produce it

Another popular catch phrase from Gilmore Girls is “Copper Boom!” It’s fun, upbeat, and practically meaningless — just fun to say. I created this design to best represent the phrase by using typefaces that are bouncy and fun. I used line extensions to add more emphasis to the excla-mation and I purposely chose a brown-gold gradient to correlate to the copper in “Copper Boom!”

PHOTO RETOUCHING
In this collection of photos I showcase a series of images I created called “The Duet Trio.” This particular series was created for my Digital Imaging class at the University of Tampa. For this project I photographed my sister many times and merged these images together to create a single image of her, and herself, and herself again. I feature her three times in each photo — and with her last name being Duet I thought it was clever to call it “The Duet Trio” since she is in every picture three times.
These pictures are very old images that had dust, scratches, and color aging dam-age. I was commissioned to restore these photos to their original look. I used Adobe Photoshop to color correct them and to retouch the scratch marks and age-spots. I show before and after comparisons to showcase my ability to restore aged photographs.
This collection of photos was part of a project for my Digital Imaging class at the University of Tampa. For this assignment I photographed women and edited the images, such as retouching their blemishes, enhancing their makeup, etc.
