appeared to Abraham, to Yitzchak, andto Ya’aqob as hashadday

[the almighty]. and my name, Ya-hwuah, was not well known

(famous) to them.

Ruwach (Spirit) is the Ibry (Hebrew) name for His "Presence", pic-

tured as the Counselor, Helper, and Advocate, the One Who "pro-

ceeds from the Father"

Tehillim 27:5

For in the day of trouble He will keep me secretly in His booth. In

the covering of His Tent He will hide me. On a Rock He raises me

up.

is for you too!

Scripture speaks of a secret place where we can simply go, be

alone, be protected, pray, and hear from Yahuahshua. Knowing

there is such a place is a matter of faith. Going back time and

again, that's a matter of building a relationship. You need not have

an advanced degree in any subject, need not have memorized

Scripture from beginning to end, but instead be aware the Yâ-

hwuah of Y’sra’al has a place for each Jew and Gentile who will

open their minds and hearts to Him.

Mt 6:5-8

When you pray, you shall not be as the role-fakers, for they love to

stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets,

that they may be seen by men. Most certainly, I tell you, they have

received their reward. But you, when you pray, enter into your in-

ner chamber, and having shut your door, pray to your Father Who

is in secret, and your Father Who sees in secret shall reward you

openly. In praying, don’t use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do;

for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Therefore don’t be like them, don't you see that your Father knows

what things you need before you ask Him.

The truth in reality is visited in this secret place AND must be

shared by those who will live or else ... they will perish ... in dark-

ness.

It is written

Lu 11:33

“No one, when he has lit a Lamp, puts it in a cellar or under a

basket, but on a stand, that those who come in may see the Light.

Tehillim. 119:105

Your Word is a Lamp to my feet, and a Light (aur) for my path.

The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore when your eye is good, your whole body

is also full of Light; but when it is evil, your body also is full of darkness. Therefore

see whether the light that is in you isn’t darkness. If therefore your whole body is full

of Light, having no part dark, it shall be wholly full of Light, as when the Lamp with

its bright shining gives you Light.”

The menorah is the only symbol created by Yâhuwshúa`

With this in mind, heart soul and strength let us study together in

the Ruwach

And now brothers and sisters

Come out of the secret place bearing light!

who see it from afar. The Secret Place, here, shines a bit of light so

many can see from afar. The topics we have chosen are addressed

to Jew and Gentile together. We do this because that is what the

Bible does. This opens the window to make more sense of what

Scripture tells us!

In the secret place is plain language, something simple to read. This

is a mere starting place for deeper consideration.

Ephesios 2:19

So then ye are no longer foreigners and alien residents, rather sons

of the same city of the pure ones, and sons of the house of the

mighty One

Why do you throw away your white stone

When you reject Yâ-hwuah’s Commandments, you reject becoming

a part of the living temple of Ya-hwuah

Yâ-hwuah’s Raukh HaQodesh dwells within us all, and has an

assembly bound by the Raukh we are the spiritual House of Yâ-

hwuah

Within whom the whole building is constructed and grows into a

pure Temple-building in Yâ-hwuah, By Whom ye also are being

constructed, for a habitation of the mighty Ones by the Raukh.

Now therefore ye are no more zarim and foreigners, but fellow

citizens with the set apart ones, and of the household of

Aluahiym);

Paul here mentions sojourners (has we are) strangers and

foreigners, and there’s a true gem of truth in understanding them.

While synonymous,

Paul was therefore telling the Ephesians that they were no longer

either zenos or paroikos, neither passing strangers nor licensed

immigrants. Rather, he calls them

the rights of a citizen. Adding the prefix

yields the idea of a citizenship with others.

Putting all this together, Paul tells the Ephesians that they all have

a common citizenship in Yâhuwshúa`. This would have made a deep

impression in their minds. Their thoughts might well have gone

something like this,

“If a Roman citizen has great privileges, what greater ones we

must have in Yâhuwshúa`! Indeed, we are citizens of a far greater

country than Rome.

To what were we “aliens” and “strangers”?

What has the blood of Yâhuwshúa`! accomplished?

Eph_2:12.

And that ye, at that time, were apart from the Anointed,

nonparticipants of the community of Yisrâ’Ä´l, and aliens to the

covenant of the promise: not having a hope, and without a mighty

one in the world!

Eph_2:13.

But now within Yâhuwshúa` the Anointed, ye, those who once

were “far” are become “near” by the blood of the Anointed!

Says Yâ-hwuah,

For He is our “Shâlówm (peace, reconciliation, completeness)”, Who

made them both one, and “loosed the hedge” (did away with the

wall ) which had partitioned their midst,

And when He rendered the enmity idle by His flesh: even the Law

of the commandments by His Law

[To the Romans 7: 6],

But now we have been cleared from the Law, having died to that

by which we were held fast, so that we should serve in renewal of

the Raukh and not in oldness of the letter.

that He might create of the two within Himself, into one new

Human – He made shâlówm (peace, reconciliation, completeness);

Eph_2:16.

So He might reconcile those both in one Body to the mighty One,

even though the gallows cross, when He had slain the enmity by it;

Eph_2:17.

And when He came, He announced the glad tidings:

“‘…Shâlówm (peace, reconciliation, completeness) is for the far

ones, and shâlówm (peace, reconciliation, completeness) is for the

near,’ says Yâ-hwuah, ‘So I shall cure him.’”

creating the fruit of the lips [the testimony], shâlówm, shâlówm

(peace, reconciliation, completeness) is for the far, and for the

near,” Says Yâ-hwuah, “So I shall cure him

Eph_2:18.

Because through Him we, both of those, have the access in one

spirit to the Father.

That at that time ye were without Mâshíyach, being aliens from

the commonwealth of Y’sra’al, and zarim from the covenants of

promise, having no tikvah, and without Aloha) in the olam hazeh:

But now in Mâshíyach Yâhuwshúa ye who sometimes were far off

are made nigh by the blood of Mâshíyach.

For HE is our shalom, who hath made both one, and hath broken

down the middle wall of partition [between us]; Having abolished

in his flesh the enmity, [even] the Torah of commandments

[contained] in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new

man, [so] making shalom; And that he might reconcile both unto

Aloha) in ONE BODY by the execution stake, having slain the

enmity thereby: And came and proclaimed shalom to you which

were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we

both have access by ONE Raukh unto ha AVI.

Strangers [and] Pilgrims

paroikos [and] parepidemos

Paul elsewhere uses some of the same terms to picture that the

Nätzräya is a “stranger,” “foreigner,” and even a “pilgrim,” but

this time in regard to the world because our true citizenship is now

in heaven. Referring to the Jews in Egypt but extending that to

the Nätzräya, he preached to those in Antioch that the people

were “strangers [paroikia] in the land of Egypt”

Act_13:17

The Aloha of this people of Y’sra’al chose Avoteinu, and exalted the

people when they dwelt as strangers in the Eretz Mitzrayim, and

with an high arm brought he them out of it.

Likewise, in that great “Hall of Faith” in Hebrews 11, he wrote

concerning all those faithful souls,

Heb_11:13

These all died in emunah, not having received the promises, but

having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of [them], and

embraced [them], and confessed that they were strangers and

pilgrims on the earth.

Pilgrims here is parepidemos (G3927), which is similar to paroikos,

referring more or less to a temporary resident without the license.

Peter also used the term in his first epistle as he wrote “to the

strangers [parepidemos] scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia,

Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia”

1Pe_1:1

Shimon Kepha, shaliach Yâhuwshúa Y HaMâshíyach, to the

sojourner scattered throughout Ponto’s , Galatia , Kappadokia ,

Asia , and Bithunia

Dearly beloved, I beseech [you] as strangers and sojourner, abstain

from fleshly lusts, which war against the nefesh;

He encourages us “as strangers [paroikos] and pilgrims

[parepidemos]” to “abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against

the soul.” What a challenge and encouragement this is to the

Nätzräya! As wonderful as life is, insignificance in light of the fact

that we are only temporary residents of this earth.

“We are not citizens of this world trying to get to heaven; rather,

we are citizens of heaven just trying to get through this world.”

Tehillim_119:19

I [am] a ger (stranger) in the earth:

and 54,

Thy Chukkot have been my zemirot (songs) in the Bayit my

pilgrimage. meditating on what shall be our comfort during our

pilgrimage.

Dwell

katoikeo

(G2730)

means

“to inhabit a house.”

There’s another aspect of this word, however, that goes even

deeper.

We see it in Rev_2:13:

I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, [even] where hasatan

seat [is]: and thou holdest fast My Name, and hast not denied My

faith, even in those days wherein Antipas [was] my faithful

martyr, who was slain among you, where hasatan dwelleth.

“I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s

seat is.” That is, of course, part of Yâhuwshúa 's’ letter to the

Assembly at Pergamum. While it had a serious problem with

worldliness, our Mâshíyach still praises it for some things it was

doing right, such as dwelling where haSatan’s seat was, that is, a

place where paganism was part of the culture.

What’s interesting is that the word usually used in Scripture to

picture the Nätzräya in the world is

Paroikeo

(G3939,

to be a stranger, to dwell at a place only for a short time). Peter

calls Nätzräya “strangers [paroikos, G3941] and pilgrims”

(1Pe_2:11),

Dearly beloved, I beseech [you] as strangers and sojourner, abstain

from fleshly lusts, which war against the nefesh;

those who are temporary dwellers in a foreign land But our

Mâshíyach uses katoikeo, which means the exact opposite, a fixed

durable dwelling. Paul prays, for example, that Yâhuwshúa will

have permanent residence in our hearts by His indwelling Raukh

(Spirit)

(Eph_3:17).

That Mâshíyach may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being

rooted and grounded in love,

So, why use

katoikeo?

Why speak about the Nätzräya taking up permanent residence in

the world when our attitude should be that we are only strangers

traveling through this world on our journey toward heaven? We

submit that our Mashiyach’s reason is to encourage us to stay put

and endure, to remain faithful witnesses where we are. While it

might be easier to just go somewhere else, here is a challenge to

stand firm where we are.

Our Mâshíyach, therefore,

Commends the believers in Pergamum for their staying where He

could use them.

So, while we are not of this world, we are still in this world; while

we are separate, we’re not to be segregated

(Joh_17:15-16).

I ask not that Thou shouldest take them out of Olam Hazeh, but

that Thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of Olam

Hazeh, even as I am not of Olam Hazeh. Set them apart for a use

that is Kodesh in Ha Emet: Thy Dvar is Ha Emet.

Php 2:15

That ye may be blameless and harmless, the Benai of Aloha,

without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation,

among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

tell us to be in the world?

Where does

Act_1:8

But ye shall receive power, after that the Raukh HaQodesh (hagios

Pneuma) is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both

in Yerushalayim, and in all Yahuwdah, and in Shomron, and unto

the uttermost part of the earth.

tell us to go in our witnessing?

The Sabbath is the sign to which we hold to his assembly, he chose

you, he called you, in his name you were immersed after

repentance and believe, to become a nation of kings and priest, of

a righteous kingdom, That Sabbath has its very roots in the

Garden of Eden, the gallows-tree cast its shadow back to the very

creation

Therefore the children of Ysra'al shall guard the Sabbath, to

observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual

covenant.

As children of Ya-hwuah we guard the very Sabbath time,

That Ya-hwuah began in creation

( time and motion the other)

Ya-hwuah spoke to Moshah, saying,

31:13

“Speak also to the children of Ysra'al, saying,

‘Most certainly you shall guard my Sabbaths:

for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations;

that you may know that

I AM Ya-hwuah

Who sets you apart.

Even obeying His command to build these holy things could not

override the Sabbath. The construction of the tabernacle was, after

all, all about the “seventh day”—the Kingdom which it

foreshadows. Be sure: I.e., do not miss this! This is a strong term

meaning “by every means at your disposal”, or “above all else”.

I.e., check to see if we are really keeping it. Have we really built

the fence? And if so, are we able to teach others the beauty of the

Sabbath? It is the first of Yâ-hwuah’s appointments; there is no

point learning about the others if we have not become proficient at

it. They are not a field trip or spectator sport, but who we are. A

sign: a distinguishing mark or token of an agreement. It is like a

wedding ring that seals Yâ-hwuah’s special relationship with Israel.

If the sign over a store is gone, it means it is no longer in business.

If someone deliberately leaves his wedding ring off, it makes us

wonder whether he wants others to know he is married. Many

teachers "hang out a sign" offering their services, but if they do not

even obey this most basic command, they are not really licensed in

Yâ-hwuah’s eyes. They may be apprentices, but we can hardly

imagine that they can lead us deeper into holiness, for the Sabbath

is the first lesson on what Sacredness means. On the other six

days we apply what we learn on it, but it is the foundation and

the crown of the rest.

Shemot 31:14

You shall guard the Sabbath therefore; for it is set apart to you.

Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever

does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his

people.

Building a hedge around the Sabbath

so that no one will even come close to breaking it is part of living

up to our name. Those who do not keep it have no part in the

commonwealth of Israel. On it we must be set apart from all the

other cares, priorities, and habits of the rest of the week. The

Sabbath is often called a queen or a bride; refusing to participate

in it is like the parable in which people gave excuses to not attend

the wedding. Treats it as ordinary: profanes, desecrates, or defiles,

reduces in honor. Work: the type of work done for pay or for

personal benefit (as in note on v. 5). The Sabbath is a sign that

says we are open for Kingdom business only.

31:15

Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath

of solemn rest, set apart to Ya-hwuah. Whoever does any work on

the Sabbath day shall surely be put to death.

The seriousness of this command is reiterated over and over, yet it

is probably the command most often disobeyed by people who say

they belong to YHWH, because saying the Sacredness moved from

the last day of the week to the first leaves the last day with

decreased honor. For six days our work has to do with "laying up

treasures on earth", which is necessary to some degree, but on the

Sabbath we have the privilege of forgetting all that and spending

time with our Creator as if we were back in the Garden of Eden

before the curse was placed on us. One day in seven we can "live

in the Messianic Kingdom" even now. Through our actions now we

are building the houses we will live in later. (1 Cor. 3:12ff) In the

"seventh day"--the Millennial Kingdom--nothing new can be

added; it will be too late.

31:16

Therefore the children of Ysra'al shall guard the Sabbath, to

observe the Sabbath throughout their generations,

What part do you not understand

Keep [it] ...to observe it: i.e., don't just do the action, but examine

what it is meant to teach you. Do the Sabbath: or, make the

Sabbath: Abraham Joshua Heschel describes preparing our hearts

for the Sabbath as "building a palace in time" and then quieting

down to dwell in it, spending the time with Ya-hwuah. It is His

ordained way of extending the concept of holiness to the realm of

time. He Himself keeps the Sabbath, so on it, we are participating

in the same activity He is doing.

This sign of the Sabbath is forever……….

31:17

It is a sign between Me and the children of Ysra'al forever; for in

six days Ya-hwuah made heaven and earth, and on the seventh

day he rested, and was refreshed.’”

A sign: the Sabbath is thus on the same level as binding Yâ-

hwuah’s words on our hand. (Deut. 6:8) “Was refreshed" means

"breathed in" or "withdrew into Himself". Even He stops to catch

His breath on it; how much more do we need to? This term has

the same root as the word for "soul"; this forms the basis for the

tradition that on the Sabbath one receives a second soul. But first

we must “breathe out” the other six days.

He gave to Moshah, when he finished speaking with him on Mount

Choreb, the two tablets of the Witness, stone tablets, written with

Aluahiym’s finger.

This Sabbath was set in sapphire stone,

by the very finger of Aluahiym at creation by an act

a perpetual covenant. Between Yâ-hwuah and His Children, from

the time of Adam to the birth of Yahuahshua and even till this day

and beyond it has always been keep, and no amount of mans

manipulation can remove that which is engraved in the stone……

His Sabbath, is established in

Blessed be, in His name

'Ya-hwuah be with you.' and they answered him, 'Ya-hwuah bless

Be not blind to the truth

And, hinnei, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they

heard that Yâhuwshúa` passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy

on us, O Yâ-hwuah, [thou] Ben David. An Yâhuwshúa` stood still,

and called them, and said, what will ye that I shall do unto you

they say unto Him, Yâ-hwuah, that our eyes may be opened. So

Yâhuwshúa` had compassion [on them], and touched their eyes:

and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

A rule necessary, and of great extent. A servant in the Gospel

Vineyard, though worthy of his Comfortable support while in the

work. Should never preach for hire, or make a secular traffic of the

Ruwach (spiritual work): what a scandal is it for a man to traffic

with gifts which he pretends, at least, to have received from the

Ruwach HaQodesh, of which he is not the master, but the

dispenser. He who preaches to get a living, or make a fortune, is

guilty of the most infamous sacrilege
