Best Education Possible - Citizens Idea Initiative
Inspired by President Obamas Transition Team Citizen Briefing Book
In response to the President Obama's call for ordinary citizens to band together and make suggestions and offer ideas, Axis Publishing Company and new author Debra E. West announced their launch of the Best Education Possible Citizen's Idea Initiative on http://www.BestEducationPossible.net.
Initiative Parameters: Through the first three quarters of 2010, ending August 31, 2010, BestEducationPossible.net will seek to harness the collective genius of parents and educators who serve in the trenches of our nation's educational system utilizing the PTA as the primary communication
infrastructure.
The Initiative follows the lead of the President's transition team and their "Citizen's Briefing Book" launched on their Change.gov website, but closed to public contribution prior to the Inauguration.
Like the Citizen's Briefing Book, the Best Education Possible Citizen's Idea Initiative will develop a white
paper compiling ideas and thoughts in a Web 2.0 environment. The goal is to have mass citizen and
global participation in the generation of ideas for improving our youth's education with the ultimate
work product being delivered to President Obama, U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, as well as, all fifty Governor's mansions. A grassroots effort to build participation has been started in Huntsville,
Alabama with local broadcast partner WEUP 103 due to the vision of its owner Hundley Batts, Sr. Our goal is to participate in the National PTAs 2010 annual conference to gain maximum input and
participation in the white papers development.
The Best Education Possible Citizen's Idea Initiative seeks to connect proactive parents, teachers
and concerned thinkers around the globe? The Initiative will utilize numerous online social networks to distribute its meme, "Empowerment and Personal Responsibility through Education (EPRE)", including,
facebook, LinkedIn, Plaxo, MySpace, and BestEducationPossible.net. About the Initiative Mrs. West says,
"We all must be held accountable and do our parts to succeed in this global economy. Education is the
answer for our future leaders and it must become a priority in this country to remain a global leader in the 21st century."
The Initiatives Strategy and Methodology: Utilizing the vast blogosphere, popular social networks and
best practices garnered from the DK Web 2.0 LinkedProject, Debra West and the
BestEducationPossible.net social network will seek to promote positive energy and cognitive
collaboration centered around the structured concept of "Empowerment and Personal Responsibility through Education (EPRE)." Drawing on the undeniable energy that is presently circling the globe, along
with the contagious prospects of hope and change, the Best Education Possible network will be
infiltrating a mind, spirit, email box or web page near you! Pass the word, join a Best Education Possible Forum on this site and begin to contribute. It is that simple. This is a people driven grass roots initiative for educational change.

About the Debra E. West Is a wife, mother of five, grandmother of four, and has been an educator for

deserves a quality education. She also believes that it takes government and school administrations,
teachers, parents, and students to make a successful educational experience.
